Jeremiah 51:52-54

⁵² “Therefore behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh,
“When I will punish her ^(A)graven images,
And the mortally wounded will groan throughout her land.
⁵³ Though Babylon should ^(B)ascend to the heavens,
And though she should fortify ^[a]her lofty stronghold,
From ^(C)Me destroyers will come to her,” declares Yahweh.

⁵⁴ The ^(D)sound of an outcry from Babylon,
And of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!
